You can do anything you set out to if you have passion, drive and self-confidence. Many people have the first 2 but seem to be lacking on self-confidence.

I want to help you build your self-confidence.

In today’s post, I am going to share 7 tips to help you have great self-confidence.

#1: Have Great Self-Confidence By Being Well Groomed And Dressing Nicely

Keeping your appearance up and dressing sharp is a magnificent method of building your self-confidence. When you see yourself in a mirror or a passing car window, you will beam with pride.

#2: Have Great Self-Confidence By Evaluating Your Acquaintances

It is said, “Birds of a feather flock together.”

If your circle of people is primarily positive in thoughts and actions, you WILL have a positive outlook. And the flip side of that is negative breeds negative.

Do a friend and family evaluation! Are there certain people who seem to feed the negative? I suggest you try to spend as little time as possible with the negative influences and spend more time with the positive ones.

#3: Have Great Self-Confidence By Allowing Your Superstitions To Have Their Place

Maybe it is a lucky rabbit’s foot or wearing one green sock and one black sock. Many people have superstitions.

Should we negate these superstitions?

No… Embrace Them!

Scientific studies have shown that carrying superstitions gives people greater self-confidence.

So hold on to your superstitions as long as they do not harm yourself or others.

#4: Have Great Self-Confidence By Helping Others

I would say that one of the biggest boosts to a person’s self-confidence is when they help someone else solve a problem or overcome a challenge.

If you want to help your self-confidence, mentor someone… Give a helping hand, a voice or reason or just listen to them.

#5: Have Great Self-Confidence By Eating Right And Exercising

Taking care of your well being is a huge confidence booster.

Try to lay off the junk food and eat vitamin and mineral enriched foods. I suggest supplementing your diet to ensure you are getting the proper nutrients.

And make an exercise plan.

  • Jog
  • Ride a bike
  • Do push ups and sit ups
  • Etc…

As you take care of your body, you will notice an extreme boost in your confidence levels.

#6: Have Great Self-Confidence By Outsourcing Your Weak Areas

We all have our strong areas and weak areas. If you try to perform tasks within your weak zones, you are liable to get frustrated. I suggest you either delegate or outsource the areas of weakness. Focus your efforts on your strong areas and you WILL have great self-confidence.

#7: Have Great Self-Confidence By Taking Massive Action

The key to success in network marketing or in anything for that matter is by taking action. Yes, there will be some failures, but action leads to results. No action leads to exactly that… Nothing!

Do you know what a sales funnel is? Let me explain.

Defining a sales funnel

In as simple method as possible, a sales funnel is like any other funnel. It is large at the top and shrinks to a small hole on the bottom.

Most entrepreneurs, including myself, have dreams that the funnel is so powerful it blows that bottom hole out.

The way a sales funnel goes is:

  1. The top large area are your target market.
  2. Moving slightly down the funnel, you now have leads.
  3. And further down those leads become prospects.
  4. You then turn prospects into sales.

I like to say there are 2 sales funnels, the one I just described and the sales funnel you use to move those people down the funnel.

From the top of the funnel to the bottom:

  1. Creating awareness
  2. Developing interest
  3. Evaluation
  4. Making a decision
  5. Purchasing
  6. Reevaluation
  7. Repurchasing

Now 6 and 7 really depend on if you offer a 1 time product or service or a consumable item.

Now that you know the definition of a sales funnel, how do you keep it full and have great conversion rates?

Here are 5 tips that can help.

Sales Funnel Conversions Tip #1: Testimonials

The biggest key in a sales funnel is gaining trust. There have been so many scams that people need to see that others have safely purchased and used your item.

It is wise that you have easy to find customer testimonials on your website.

Use the customer’s picture if they allow because images make it more real to the website visitor.

Sales Funnel Conversions Tip #2: Identify And Fix Funnel Blockages

It is imperative that you have a smooth flowing sales funnel. If blockages occur, it can disrupt the flow and create havoc.

It is my suggestion that on a weekly basis, you or one of your tribe members takes a run through the sales funnel to see if there are any issues that could be slowing it down.

  • Updates that have made the webinar too difficult to sign up for
  • Payment processor not working properly
  • Webinar is filling faster than estimated
  • Etc…

By having someone go through the process on a scheduled basis, you can keep all sales funnel blockages cleared.

Sales Funnel Conversions Tip #3: Provide Valuable Content

This should be a no-brainer but there are marketers who still assume they can have a high converting sales funnel when they put out trashy content.

The fact is, if you publish non valuable blog posts or social media posts, the people that read them will assume what you are selling is also not valuable.

Sales Funnel Conversions Tip #4: Engage The Reader More

readerHave you noticed some marketers use a technique where they tell the reader to click a link to keep reading or to get the next email?

This is a method to engage the person.

By using that technique, the person is actually doing something to see more of what you have. By engaging them, you are creating even better odds that they will follow through with the complete sales funnel process.

It does work!

Some marketers claim a 500% jump in conversion rates by using this simple technique.

Sales Funnel Conversions Tip #5: More Leads Is Not Necessarily The Answer

If a marketer were to say, “I need more leads,” I would be apt to ask “What are you doing with the leads you have?”

Follow up and nurturing leads holds a higher level of importance than getting more leads.

Research has shown that the average number of follow ups before a sale will be made is 12-15.

So you need to nurture the leads you have. If the person says not now, I will think about it or anything of that sort, it means you need to just keep following up without pressure.

Build a relationship and keep feeding them with valuable information. Work on converting the leads you do have instead of swamping the top of the funnel with more leads.

Superstar Tip #1: Create A Huge Vision

It all starts with a dream… A vision.

You need to create a monstrous vision of where you want to be in 6 months, 1 year, 5 years.

Allow yourself to dream because it is the dream that will take you from average to amazing.

Superstar Tip #2: Find What Sets Your Business Apart From The Rest

What about your business is different, what is better?

This will be the “hook” in gaining customers and followers. When you can show them that your business does it better, gives you more back and/or has stronger ingredients, you will attract more people who want to work with, and buy from the best.

Superstar Tip #3: Keep It Simple

Some entrepreneurs have this crazy idea that the more complicated the system they use, the better chance of success they have…

Not TRUE!

The simpler you keep it, the better the chances of success.

Many people will not follow when first hearing about it. But if you build a relationships by liking their posts, wishing them happy birthdays, Merry Christmas, etc… they will build a trust and as you keep educating, in time they will give your business and products more consideration.

It is a common problem… Many entrepreneurs get so “caught up” in managing their business and other people, they neglect their #1 asset: their own selves.

A very wise man once told me that we can never properly train and lead other people unless we lead ourselves first. It was Zig Ziglar who told me that, and it has always been engraved into my mind.

So I have made it a priority that I put just as much into personal development as I do developing my business.

By doing so, I grow and my tribe grows right with me.

I find that I must remind myself to take care of my top asset. So I have decided to give myself some reminders today while also giving you 8 personal development tips.

Personal Development Tip #1: Build Your Talents

I firmly believe in learning new things, but I recommend that you focus on bettering the talents and skills you have. The strong areas.

I suggest that you use less of your energy on trying to grow in your weak areas. Find tribe members who are strong where you are weak.

Personal Development Tip #2: Immerse Yourself In Positive

There is a constant supply of negative influences…

  • Newspapers
  • People
  • Etc…

Instead of paying any attention to the constant influx of negative, drown yourself in positives. Surround yourself with positive people, read positive books and articles and make it a habit to only speak and think positive.

I will tell you that it isn’t an easy task at first but as you consciously use this tip, positive will become 2nd nature.

We can learn so much from reading. I suggest you set a goal to read a certain amount each week. Put it in your plan.

Studies have shown that you reflect how you dress.

Your health is extremely important. I suggest you take a close look at your eating habits, sleeping methods and get proper exercise.

By doing so, you will be able to manage your business better.

Personal Development Tip #7: Try Something New

I suggest you discover something you have never experienced or done and do it!

Try to do one new thing every week.

You have:

  • Never been water skiing… Go!
  • Wanted to see the Grand Canyon… What’s stopping you?
  • Considered eating sushi but haven’t… Google the best sushi restaurant in your area and make a reservation.

Don’t be scared and quit procrastinating… Borrowing the NIKE motto… Just Do It!

I once overheard one person say to another “Are you listening or just hearing?”

I had to examine that statement in my own life.

So many of us listen to other people in a “hearing” manner. We are planning our response instead of fully understanding what the person is saying.

I have learned to quit planning a response and instead practice active listening. Now my goal is to completely understand what the other person is saying.

Maybe you have a product idea, but the best way to generate money to make production of your product a reality is to start by selling a service that really takes little, or no start up funds. Use your profits from the service sales to fund the production of your product and, Wham, you have your dream running.

The service could be anything from building websites to SEO.

Starting A Business With Little Or No Money Tip #2: Keep Your Job

Wouldn’t it be great if we absolutely knew we could start a business and have it in “the black” within 1 or 2 weeks? But that is illogical. It rarely happens and any profits coming in need to usually go back into the business to grow and become successful.

The best advice we can give you is keep your present job to pay those bills and feed your family. Work the business in your spare time. By following this advice, you will feel less stress.

Starting A Business With Little Or No Money Tip #3: Build The Business On Your Passion And Knowledge

I have witnessed it time and time again… A person sees another doing well with a business and they assume they could also do well. The thing they don’t consider is the other person’s knowledge base and passion.

It would be like me trying to start a business in auto parts. I have very little understanding about car parts and just that alone would be a check mark against potential success. I also do not see myself having much passion about auto parts… So check mark #2.

If you have passion but little knowledge, you can learn or bring in people with knowledge.

If you have the knowledge but little passion, I would say you should seek a different idea.

If you have both knowledge and passion, GO FOR IT! Those are the key attributes to have a successful business.

Starting A Business With Little Or No Money Tip #4: Seek Startup Funds From Sources Not Usually Considered

If you went out to a bank to get a loan to start up a business, you may have to put your house up. Is that really what you want to do? How does your spouse feel about that?

There are other ways to get funding. You may ask friends or family to invest.

I want to also explain another way using a blockchain system I am co-founder of.

  • and home maintenance costs

Since the IRS uses the honor system on this deduction, the wise entrepreneur makes a diagram of their work area with measurements just in case of an audit.

This doesn’t count if you can get employer provided health insurance from your job and managing a home based business part time. But, if you have to provide health insurance for you and your family as a self employed business owner, you can deduct those premiums without itemizing.

The IRS has given self employed people the advantage of deducting any tool or resource that will help them with their taxes.

Any expenses incurred by traveling for business can be deducted on your self employed taxes. You can deduct:

  • Hotels
  • Train, subway or cab expenses
  • Rental cars
  • Even such things as dry cleaning, baggage fees and business meals

Just be sure and keep receipts so you have evidence of these expenses.

Tax Benefits For Entrepreneurs #6: Deduct Office Supplies

Nearly any supplies that you need to properly manage your business can be deducted. Be it

  • Notepads
  • Pens or pencils
  • Staples
  • Software
  • Etc…

you can deduct those expenses.

You have the right to deduct a portion of your phone and internet bill. You have to estimate how much of those services are used for business and you can deduct that percentage of the bill.

I suggest you do not attempt to deduct 100% of those bills because the IRS will most likely audit you. They know you probably do not use that service 100% of the time for business.

If you use your vehicle for business, you can deduct mileage and expenses. You will want to keep accurate logs showing miles traveled for business minus personal travel. You can also deduct a percentage of maintenance such as tires, oil changes, etc…

The advantage here is the fact that you are considered both employee and employer. Employees have a limit to the amount they can deposit in a 401k of $18,000 or $24,000 if over 50 years old.

If you are self employed, you can deposit up to $53,000 which is all taken from gross income and brings your net income lower saving you on taxes.

Tax Benefits For Entrepreneurs #10: Deduct Interest

Any interest on business loans and credit card purchases for business items is deductible.

Tax Benefits For Entrepreneurs #11: Deduct Educational Expenses

If you take any courses, buy any books or hire a mentor or consultant for business educational reasons, these expenses are deductible.

Tax Benefits For Entrepreneurs #12: Deduct Advertising And Marketing Costs

This is one of the most overlooked deductions of all… Advertising and marketing IS a business expense and you have the right to deduct those expenses.

If you keep accurate records and logs, you can shrink tax bills drastically.

Entrepreneurs have so many tax benefits, it sometimes amazes me more people are not starting even a part time home based business.
