In a previous post “Work Smarter Not Harder“….I give simple tips on leveraging tools to help you accomplish more success with less stress.

Today, I wanted to give you 7 Super Simple Tips to Becoming 10X More Successful – Daily in Network Marketing.  As a fellow Entrepreneur I am learning daily how to be more productive, efficient and effective in growing my brand and footprint in the world.

Here are a few of my favorite ways to work smarter not harder in Network Marketing:

1. Establish a “Starting” ritual.
Try to begin your day the same way. If you work at home, maybe take a short walk before you go to your office. Have a cup of coffee/tea or read or meditate before starting your work. An daily starting ritual will ease your mind, body and soul into the day and give confidence.  Mornings are very important as they set the emotional tone of what you want to accomplish that day.  Be protective of your mornings!

2. Make a “to don’t” list.
Prepare a list that contains all the things you shouldn’t waste your time on – useless tasks, unnecessary meetings, worthless phone calls, and so on.

Then place it next to your “to do” list – and stick to it.  This will become critical in eliminating “time zapping” activities.

3. Learn.  “Leaders are Readers”
Become a learning machine. Ask questions. Take smart people to lunch. Read. Read some more. Listen to audiobooks. Take classes. Go to conferences (which are also great places to network.) Added benefit: This makes life more interesting. Yet another benefit: Studies have shown that people who make constant learning part of their lives end up living longer.  You will also start to attract more of what you want in life.  Laws of Attraction become very apparent quickly!

Invest in yourself!  You are your most important and valuable commodity.  Don’t take it for granted.  If you want to make a million dollars, you need to add a million dollars worth of value to society.

4. Guard your calendar.
Calendar is King!  Make sure your time is focused on your one or two top priorities. Ask yourself: “Is this how I want to be spending my time right now?” Remember: you are your calendar. So treat your calendar with respect. Network Marketing can produce a lot of “shiny toys”.  Stay focused by filling up your calendar with productive activities that serve you each day and push you towards your goals.

5. Spend 10 minutes today laughing out loud.
Turn on Comedy Central, read a funny book, look at photographs of yourself in junior high. Laugh. Fully.  Do one thing everyday that makes you laugh!

6. Hone your elevator speech.
Be able to explain who you are, what you do, and why someone could benefit from your unique talents – in 30 seconds. Then cut your pitch to 15 seconds. Practice it. Sharpen it… Caveat: An elevator speech shouldn’t sound like an elevator speech. It’s really an exercise in being honest, concise, and interesting.

7. Establish a closing ritual. Know when to stop working. Try to end each work day the same way, too. Straighten up your desk. Back up your computer. Make a list of what you need to do tomorrow.  Become consistent in ending your day and leaving work behind to focus on family or yourself.

The key to my success has been consistency in working towards goals I have set out for myself.  These goals drive my daily activities and give me a bigger view to focus on so I never get caught in the minutia/drama/negative that others might be involved with.
