I have listened to so many people that are struggling in their Network Marketing Business and wondering “why” their team is not exploding…..or even growing.

I learned long ago that if I am  not setting the pace….I am following someone else that is going alot faster than I am.  The challenge in Network Marketing is that we are building our team.  Meaning, you can rely on your leader for a while but if you want to really build a Network Marketing business….you need to step out from the draft of your leader and set the new pace you want to build your team at.

Lead by Example!  If you want your network marketing team to hit a certain rank.  Qualify for a certain trip incentive.  Hit a certain goal.  Make sure that you are putting in the time, the energy, the numbers to show HOW to hit those ranks, trips, goals.

If you want your team members to hit a certain rank.  Reverse engineer what it’s going to take to hit that rank.  I listen to so many Network Marketers spend so much wasted time on “non-productive” activities and wonder why they are not going anywhere.  You need a road map that you can follow everyday.  You need to know how many people you need to talk to everyday that will ensure you will hit your goals.
If you are the leader, you need to tell your team, “this is how many people you need to talk too everyday and this will produce the results you desire”.  Most people want to be lead and shown the way to success.  Give them a plan that they can feel confident in.  They can feel certain about.

UN-certainty is the biggest killer!  If you are not 100% certain that you are in Network Marketing.  Pack your bags and find another hobby.  Hobbies cost money vs businesses make money! 

You need to be honest with yourself and honest with your team members to make sure they are honest with themselves and how certain they are!

For A-type MLM builders…they get really excited by setting the pace and typically most people can’t keep up.

Not comfortable leading or driving others?  That’s Ok.

Recommendation:
If you are not a “driver” or A-type personality…you follow an A-type person and learn, listen, and mimic this person.  What you will find is that your pace starts picking up.  You start becoming a Pace Setter and not even realizing it.Also, if you are not an A-Type person…typically, you are a good relationship building person.  If so, start to fill the position of “rewards manager”.  Meaning, when anyone on your team hits any goals, ranks, recruits a person…..anything positive…you need to recognize them on all social media, internal platform, emails, texts, etc….flamethrower for mlm success

Make sure you constantly provide fuel to the fire…keep momentum happening…excitement happening…growth happening!

Last, become a shining star for “POS – Positively Outrageous Service”.  Become “that” person that people talk about.  Become “that” person that people want to be around, want to learn from, want to join and grow because you provide so much value and soul.

How to “Attract” Success in Network Marketing, It’s YOUR Choice!

I was recently flying from Dallas, Tx to Orange County, Ca and as I boarded the plane I found my seat next to a lovely young lady that stopped me and said “I see colors coming off you”.  Now for the record, I figured she must have been smoking something and the buzz just hit her but as I sat down and we began to converse, I realized this person is very in tune with people’s “energy” and how they’re feeling.

I was fascinated by the insight she was giving me about myself and my thoughts, feelings, and passion….she just met me, how did she know so much about me?

One thing she said really stuck with me and made great sense.  She said, “everyone has an “energy” that shines out from them about 8 feet.  This is the reason you can walk into a room and see strangers and already “feel” how they make you “feel” without ever saying a word to them.  Ever notice how you are attracted to some people while others might turn you off without ever talking to them?  That is because they are shining an energy of how they feel and you are feeling this energy from them.

I truly believe she is correct about this energy and how it shines from you everyday.  What is your energy saying about you?

I want you to think about this.  When you call people and discuss your Network Marketing opportunity….what is your energy as you talk to them over the phone (because people can feel how you feel even over the phone).  Are you giving an energy of passion, excitement, confidence about Network Marketing?  Or, one of desperation, worry, need, insecurity….are you uncomfortable with being a Network Marketer? 
#1 Obstacle in Network Marketing – Your mind.  You need to be 100% certain that you are a Network Marketer and you are committed to being successful.  If not, your un-certainty will always sabotage you and your Network Marketing business!

Remember this, when you sit with someone or meet someone in person….they see you, more than hear you.  This is important to remember, they are watching you (how do you feel about what your talking about, do you look at them in their eyes, are you confident).

The content you are talking about is really secondary….they need to feel your passion and excitement and this will shine on them and get them excited and feel a need to connect with you and want to be apart of what you are doing.

1.  Before ever talking to someone – SMILE!  Smiling is powerful, it’s contagious, it’s beautiful!

2. Find the things about yourself and your business that you feel most excited about and share them.  What got you SO excited about your business?

3.  People only join people that provide “Value” to them.  What is Your Value?  This is something that is really key and as you discover your value, this will create energy!

4. Are you having fun?  No one wants to work more.  People want to have fun while growing themselves into a better person and making money doing it.  Create an environment of fun, collaboration, brainstorming…this creates an AMAZING energy that gives people a sense of worth and contribution!

People Love Network Marketing…Do You?

People Are Already a “YES” in Network Marketing! Stop Getting in the Way!

People who are right for your Network Marketing product or service are ready and willing to buy.

The universe has brought them to you because the two of you are right for each other!

You have what they want.

What gets in the way of this happening more often is our mental not believing it’s possible.  We are not certain about what we are doing or the Network Marketing profession.  We self sabotage ourselves!

Have you ever been with friends and you are just looking for the right time to “introduce” your Network Marketing business but your mind keeps telling you…”no, now’s not the right time”…..”what if they laugh at me”…..”what if they reject me”….”will they tell our other friends I am in Network Marketing?”….”probably not a good time for them, they won’t be interested”.   Ever had your mind feeding you these lines of bologne?

We get in our own way with our thoughts.  Our beliefs.  Our pre-determined notion of what you want the outcome to be so you really don’t even listen to what your prospects needs, wants, desires, and goals are.

Selling is 90% mental.  10% skill.

I tell my clients….if you are getting “no’s”.  Stop Selling.  Start Listening More!  You must be talking AT your prospect…not WITH your prospect.  You are uncomfortable so you continue too talk and talk and talk and tell and talk.

Stop!

Ask more questions.  What is your prospect interested in?  Why are they interested in Network Marketing and joining your team?  What do they love about Network Marketing and your products? What if you could provide extra income or time or freedom for your prospect?  What would that mean for them?  What is their reason for looking for more time?  What would they do with that extra time?  What do they love to do for fun?

When you focus on your prospect…you don’t have time to focus on your mind.  Just remember:

Stop-Selling

Trust yourself more and enjoy people!

6 Ways to Drive Free Website Traffic to Your Network Marketing Business

In Network Marketing, having a constant pipeline of prospects is key!  There are 2 strategies to consider.  Online or Offline (or a hybrid of both).  I always talk about if you are providing value to others….it is very simple to have a pipeline full of prospects just within your warm market.

An abundance of self-proclaimed “experts” out there promise they know the secret of driving traffic to your website.  However, increasing your website traffic is not rocket science and doesn’t have to be complicated or difficult.  While you do have to invest time and resources to achieve quality results, the mystery of Internet marketing is yours to solve. Here are seven easy and effective ways to drive more quality traffic to your website.

1. Create consistent content for your website

Content doesn’t just mean the words on the pages of your site. Content can take the form of blog posts, free how-to guides, whitepapers with industry insights and facts, ebooks to educate your audience, and more.  It empowers visitors with helpful information to make them feel comfortable turning to you for advice when they are ready to become a customer or join your Network Marketing business. But remember, writing one blog post won’t send thousands of people to your website overnight. Research shows that it takes about 20 quality blog posts published on a regular basis to start seeing a significant increase in lead activity.

2. Write good content for your website

When it comes to content, quality over quantity is key.  Quality matters, period.  Too many companies have fallen victim to SEO schemes that preach, “more is better” when it comes to content. While continually producing content is essential, quality is most important.  If you create informative content on your area of expertise, search engines and customers will reward you. Stumped for content ideas?

  • Keep a notepad by your phone and write down questions customers have. Answer them on your website or blog.
  • Look in your email inbox for the most common questions from customers, or your Sent folder for your answers to their questions.
  • Think about the topics your team fields the most and make sure your website content answers these questions.

You don’t have to be an authority on content strategy, search engine optimization (SEO) or writing for the web to create informative and interesting content that shows your knowledge and industry expertise.

3. Include video to your content strategy

Chances are that you have a video camera on your phone, tablet or computer.  Just like written content (see above), you can inform and educate your audience via video.  People love personal interaction and video is a great chance for people to get to know you better. YouTube is one of the top search engines that people use to find information. Not only do they search, but they also share. You can easily add video to your website and YouTube channel to generate traffic and gain leads. Here are a few ideas for creating video content:

  • Take video of your office and facility
  • Show how your products are made and create demos
  • Conduct interviews with your Network Marketing companies staff
  • Explain one of your products or services
  • Get video testimonials from your customers

4.  Utilize social media

Of course it’s important to create content, but it doesn’t do a lot of good if nobody sees it. Having the right distribution channels is essential. As you create new content on your site, share it across all of your social media channels. As you share your blogs, new offers, videos and more, you’ll connect with prospects who can turn into leads.

5. SEO optimize every page of your website

Every page of your site is a potential entry point for a lead if it’s optimized correctly. Treat each page as an opportunity to speak direct to a specific person using a targeted keyword phrase. To find relevant keywords, start with Google’s Keyword Planner.  Once you decide your keyword phrases, incorporate them properly within the meta tags and on-page content.  A simple one-two-three plan is to make sure the keyword phrase is included in:

  • Page <title> tag
  • meta description (to increase click rate, not necessarily to improve ranking)
  • H1 tag

If you aren’t sure how to do this technical stuff, then simply include a keyword in your blog or page title and once or twice inside the copy of the blog/page.  Find the words around the community, niche, products that you provide and make sure to use them throughout your pages consistently.

6. Comment on industry blogs

Sharing your expertise on other blogs not only shows that you’re an Network Marketing thought leader, but can also drive traffic to your website.

As you read daily/weekly Network Marketing blogs, comment on at least one a week. Commenting allows you to offer your professional insight and add something of value to the conversation.

Sometimes, you can include a direct link back to your website for valuable “link juice” that search engines love. Some blog comment tools like Disqus also include a link to your most recent blog post. So, always use your real name and offer as much information as possible to improve your digital footprint.

8 tips to Turbo Charge Your Productivity & Success During the Workday to Build Your Network Marketing Business

Explode your productivity by taking note of these eight things:

1. Create a smaller to-do list. to-dont-listGetting things accomplished during your workday shouldn’t be about doing as much as possible in the sanctioned eight hours. It may be hard to swallow, but there’s nothing productive about piling together a slew of tasks in the form of a checklist. Take a less-is-more approach to your to-do list by only focusing on accomplishing things that matter.

2. Take breaks. You know that ache that fills your brain when you’ve been powering through tasks for several hours? This is due to your brain using up glucose. Too many people mistake this for a good feeling, rather than a signal to take a break. Go take a walk, grab something to eat, workout, or meditate – give your brain some resting time. Achieve more productivity during your workday by making a point to regularly clear your head. You’ll come back recharged and ready to achieve greater efficiency.

3. Follow the 80/20 rule. Did you know that only 20 percent of what you do each day produces 80 percent of your results? Eliminate the things that don’t matter during your workday: they have a minimal effect on your overall productivity. For example, on a project, systematically remove tasks until you end up with the 20 percent that gets the 80 percent of results.

4. Start your day by focusing on yourself. If you begin your morning by checking your email, it allows others to dictate what you accomplish. Set yourself in the right direction by ignoring your emails and taking the morning to focus on yourself, eat a good breakfast, meditate, or read the news.

5. Take on harder tasks earlier in the day. Knock out your most challenging work when your brain is most fresh. Save your busy work – if you have any – for when your afternoon slump rolls in.

6. Pick up the phone. The digital world has created poor communication habits. Email is a productivity killer and usually a distraction from tasks that actually matter. For example, people often copy multiple people on emails to get it off their plate – don’t be a victim of this action. This distracts everyone else by creating noise against the tasks they’re trying to accomplish and is a sign of laziness. If you receive an email where many people are CC’d, do everyone a favor by BCCing them on your reply. If your email chain goes beyond two replies, it’s time to pick up the phone. Increase your productivity by scheduling a call.
Network Marketing is a “People” business, pick up the phone and connect with People.  Start by doing it 1 time.  You will quickly find that 1 turns into 51 and watch your business boom!

7. Create a system. If you know certain things are ruining your daily productivity, create a system for managing them. Do you check your emails throughout the day? Plan a morning, afternoon, and evening time slot for managing your email. Otherwise, you’ll get distracted from accomplishing more important goals throughout the day.

8. Don’t confuse productivity with laziness. While no one likes admitting it, sheer laziness is the No. 1 contributor to lost productivity. In fact, a number of time-saving methods – take meetings and emails for example – are actually just ways to get out of doing real work. Place your focus on doing the things that matter most as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Remember, less is more when it comes to being productive during the workday.
