3 Emotions That Create Network Marketing Success. Tap 1, Everyone Wins!

3 Emotions that Cause People to Buy or Join Your MLM (Without Rejection)

You don’t know it yet, but in the next 5 minutes you are going to discover how to “Eliminate MLM Objections“, Eliminate “I Can’t Afford It”, Eliminate “I don’t have the time”.

Let me ask you a personal question.  Are you caught in the never ending struggle of overcoming objections – “I can’t afford it”… “I don’t have the time”…”Is this MLM?, etc…

Are you finding it impossible to get any traction with building a team?

Would you love to meet a prospect on an airplane and within 5 minutes having them beg you to join your business?

Well, that is exactly what happened to me by implementing knowledge you are about to discover today and with tools that help “credibalize” (Lol…I made that word up….meaning – give credibility to your information).

Watch this quick video to begin:

MLM Recruiting

That example happened in less than 5 minutes.  She actually gave me a hug when we got off the plane thanking me.  That’s exciting and powerful MLM Recruiting!

The Rocket Recruiting App I talk about you can find here: RocketRecruiting2_UX

Let’s get started….

There are only 3 “triggers” that will cause someone to buy or join your MLM:

1. Pain

2. Gain

3. Fear

The key is tapping into one or more of these key “emotions” or “triggers”. If you don’t…no one is taking any action.

The challenge is 97% of Network Marketers struggle trying to “sell” on the gain emotion. Money, Dreams, Cars, recognition, etc…
This is the LEAST motivating for the long term…let me explain. I can get someone excited to buy as I have them in an emotional state of “Hope-ium”…. all the wonderful things they are going to get by joining my business…but as we all know, it takes time to build a business and what emotion kicks in when they get their first “no”?

Fear…right? “oh, my gosh this is going to be harder than I thought”….Wow, can I really succeed? What if I fail?Did I make the right decision?….Can I get my money back?…etc….

Just remember this one simple fact: “People Buy Emotionally, BUT, They Justify Factually”.

Meaning, unless it makes me money or provides some kind of return that is tangible, people will go into a fear state of mind and cancel…that is why the Network Marketing profession is a revolving door for many companies because they focus so much on the product and giving a new Distributor “sales material” and “product” and say “great job…now go out and build your business” but not giving the new distributor any tools to run, oh yeah, the BUSINESS….THIS IS A BUSINESS, IF YOU RUN IT LIKE A BUSINESS, IT WILL PAY YOU LIKE A BUSINESS…unless you are just a consumer of the product.

That is why I teach, Fear is a much greater motivator….go create some! One of the biggest fears is losing my MONEY!

So, if I can show you that everyday you go work your 9-5 job AND lose approx. $300-$500/month in taxes by not having a home business…basically working the first 3-4 months of each year for NOTHING.

Did I also hit “pain” with this last sentence: You are basically working the first 3-4 months per year to pay taxes.  Would anyone get angry at that?  Would anyone feel “pain” with that?  Of course they would!  I would too!

I want to be clear.  I do not advocate tax evasion or not paying your fair share in taxes BUT NOT A PENNY MORE!

Now, instead of trying to “sell” my products, I am sharing great information that can save my prospect money each month WHILE giving them the ability to share that great information and make money on top of the money saved.

I have now shifted the power from the buyer to me, the sharer. Everyone will want to know how to KEEP $300-$500/month immediately but you will always hit the “money obstacle” when you ask them to SPEND $300-500 to join your business.

Make Sense?  The Rocket Recruiting App is a simple way to show this estimated savings:  RocketRecruiting2_UX

Most people are not sales reps, networkers, outgoing….you need to quickly show them how to get out of the mindset of selling and start helping others get a raise in their 9-5 job by joining your business…this gives them a way to be profitable month 1 and keep them in the business long enough to learn the ropes, comp plan, and talking product with others.

Remember, Network Marketing/Direct Sales is a profession of duplication and unless you can give your team a “non-threatening” and without any reputational risk to introduce to their network, you will find yourself constantly pumping up the balloon that keeps deflating!

10 Ways I Have Found to Be Happy in Network Marketing

Surround Yourself with Happy People! Be Happy!

Emotions are like germs. As people observe others in specific emotional states, those emotions spread from one person to the next like an “emotional contagion”.

As a result, people “who are surrounded by many happy people and those who are central in the network are more likely to become happy in the future.

You are in control of “who” you spend your time with.  Choose wisely!

Here is a list of 10 Ways I found to Be Happier!

1. Don’t start with profundities. When I began my Happiness Project, I realized pretty quickly that, rather than jumping in with lengthy daily meditation or answering deep questions of self-identity, I should start with the basics, like going to sleep at a decent hour and not letting myself get too hungry. Science backs this up; these two factors have a big impact on happiness.

2. Do let the sun go down on anger. I had always scrupulously aired every irritation as soon as possible, to make sure I vented all bad feelings before bedtime. Expressing anger related to minor, fleeting annoyances just amplifies bad feelings, while not expressing anger often allows it to dissipate.

3. Fake it till you feel it. Feelings follow actions. If I’m feeling low, I deliberately act cheery, and I find myself actually feeling happier. If I’m feeling angry at someone, I do something thoughtful for him/her and my feelings toward them soften. This strategy is uncannily effective.
4. Realize that anything worth doing is worth doing badly. Challenge and novelty are key elements of happiness. The brain is stimulated by surprise, and successfully dealing with an unexpected situation gives a powerful sense of satisfaction. People who do new things―learn a game, travel to unfamiliar places―are happier than people who stick to familiar activities that they already do well. I often remind myself to “Enjoy the fun of failure” and tackle some daunting goal.

5. Don’t treat the blues with a “treat.” Often the things I choose as “treats” aren’t good for me. The pleasure lasts a minute, but then feelings of guilt and loss of control and other negative consequences deepen the lousiness of the day. While it’s easy to think, I’ll feel good after I have a few glasses of wine…a pint of ice cream…a cigarette…a new pair of jeans, it’s worth pausing to ask whether this will truly make things better.

6. Buy some happiness. Our basic psychological needs include feeling loved, secure, and good at what we do. You also want to have a sense of control. Money doesn’t automatically fill these requirements, but it sure can help. I’ve learned to look for ways to spend money to stay in closer contact with my family and friends; to promote my health; to work more efficiently; to eliminate sources of irritation and marital conflict; to support important causes; and to have enlarging experiences. For example, when my sister got married, I splurged on a better digital camera. It was expensive, but it gave me a lot of happiness.

7. Don’t insist on the best. There are two types of decision makers. Satisficers (yes, satisficers) make a decision once their criteria are met. When they find the hotel or the pasta sauce that has the qualities they want, they’re satisfied. Maximizers want to make the best possible decision. Even if they see a bicycle or a backpack that meets their requirements, they can’t make a decision until they’ve examined every option. Satisficers tend to be happier than maximizers. Maximizers expend more time and energy reaching decisions, and they’re often anxious about their choices. Sometimes good enough is good enough.

8. Exercise to boost energy. I knew, intellectually, that this worked, but how often have I told myself, “I’m just too tired to go to the gym”? Exercise is one of the most dependable mood-boosters. Even a 10-minute walk can brighten my outlook.

9. Stop nagging. Nagging doesn’t work particularly well, but I figured that if I stopped, my wife would never do a thing around the house. Wrong. If anything, more work got done. Plus, I got a surprisingly big happiness boost from quitting nagging. I hadn’t realized how shrewish and angry I had felt as a result of speaking like that. I replaced nagging with the following persuasive tools: wordless hints; not insisting that something be done on my schedule; and, most effective of all, doing a task myself. Why did I get to set the assignments?

10. Take action. Some people assume happiness is mostly a matter of inborn temperament: You’re born an Eeyore or a Tigger, and that’s that. Although it’s true that genetics play a big role, about 40 percent of your happiness level is within your control. Taking time to reflect, and making conscious steps to make your life happier, really does work. So use these tips to start your own Happiness Project. I promise it won’t take you a whole year.

Much love,

Eric

[Checklist] 25 Habits Of People Who Are Successful, Healthy, and Happy!

happy-people-on the beach
Who doesn’t want to be a successful, healthy, and happy human being? Still, it can be easy to lose your way, here is a list of habits you can use to help reach your goals.
So what is it about happy people that makes them the way they are? Below are just some of the ways they separate themselves from the rest of the crowd.
Here’s a checklist: 25 Habits Of People Who Are Successful, Healthy, and Happy!
1. They don’t hold grudges.

2. They think outside of the box.

3. They go by a routine and make exercise a part of it. It takes practice to develop healthy habits and stick with them. Once you do, your internal foundation will be strong.

4. They have a supportive tribe, thereby not wasting time with negative or toxic people.

5. They don’t care about what other people think. Does a tiger lose sleep over the opinion of sheep?

6. They don’t people please.

7. They see difficult and challenging situations as opportunities for personal growth

8. They consider handling rejection a skill and are resilient.

9. They make time for themselves. Whether it’s getting eight hours of sleep every night, finding 15 minutes to read the newspaper in peace or an hour to go to the gym, they make it a priority — just like everything else. When you take care of yourself, you have a bigger impact on others.

10. They are spiritual. This doesn’t necessarily mean religious. It could mean setting aside time for reflection through yoga or meditation.

11. They practice deep breathing.

12. They know there isn’t such a thing as “having it all,” and they’re happy about that. Wouldn’t the world be a boring place for them otherwise?

13. Fear doesn’t hold them back. They’re ready to take risks.

14. They know how to say “NO,” and don’t hold back. These people have learned to set boundaries. Plenty of them.

15. They learned a great deal from other people whom they admire. Either they had a great mentor, or they took note of how those they aspired to be like handled various situations.

16. They follow their inner guidance. Not only do they have a vision, but they follow it.

17. They give without expecting anything in return.

18. They aren’t pretentious or conceited.

19. Passion is what drives them. They authentically believe in what they’re doing.

20. They don’t complain.

21. They live by their core values in both their professional and personal lives.

22. They’re happy to swim against the tide.

23. They finish what they start.

24. They don’t compare themselves to other people.

25. They want you to succeed, too.

Say “Yes” to Get “Yes”. Try This Today!

“If somebody offers you an amazing opportunity but you are not sure you can do it, say yes – then learn how to do it later!”

Richard Branson

I woke up this morning and wanted to try an idea out.  Say “Yes” to everyone and everything.  Lol!  I wanted to see how people reacted when they were met with zero resistance….actually met with compassion, love, and excitement.

Guess what?

People Are Already a “YES”! Stop Getting in the Way!

yes

People who are right for your product or service are ready and willing to buy.

The universe has brought them to you because the two of you are right for each other!

You have what they want.

What gets in the way of this happening more often is our mental not believing it’s possible.  We self sabotage ourselves!

Have you ever been with friends and you are just looking for the right time to “introduce” your home business but your mind keeps telling you…”no, now’s not the right time”…..”what if they laugh at me”…..”what if they reject me”….”will they tell our other friends?”….”probably not a good time for them, they won’t be interested”.   Ever had your mind feeding you these lines of bologne?

We get in our own way with our thoughts.  Our beliefs.  Our pre-determined notion of what you want the outcome to be so you really don’t even listen to what your prospects needs are.

Selling is 90% mental.  10% skill.

(read my other blog on “the truth about prospecting, can you handle it“)

I tell people….if you are getting “no’s”.  Stop Selling.  Start Listening More!  You must be talking AT your prospect…not WITH your prospect.  You are uncomfortable so you continue too talk and talk and talk and tell and talk.

Stop!

Ask more questions.  What is your prospect interested in.  If you could provide extra income or time or freedom for your prospect.  What would that mean for them?  What is their reason for looking for more time?  What would they do with that extra time?  What do they love to do for fun?

Focus on them…not your mind.

Stop-Selling

Trust yourself more and enjoy people!

I wanted to give you some creative ways to say “yes”.  This comes from: http://languagelearningbase.com/85409/creative-ways-to-say-yes

There are a few that might get some second looks but hope you enjoyed.  Lol! Enjoy people and say “yes” whenever possible.  It just feels good!
