Leave The Comfort Zone Behind: 4 Tips

Entrepreneurship and comfort are similar to oil and water, they do not go together. To truly have success as an entrepreneur, you must leave the comfort zone behind.

Now, I am not saying that you should start sleeping on a concrete block instead of your expensive mattress. It isn’t that “type” of comfort that needs to be left back; it is the comfort you get when you are just floating along satisfied that the bills are paid and food is on the table.

The comfort you feel because you can at least take your spouse out to eat once per week, even though you cannot afford to purchase that JetSki you would love to have.

By all means…

Keep your comfortable chair, vehicle, etc…, but leave the comfort ZONE behind.

Here are 4 tips to do so:

The best things in life are often waiting for you at the exit ramp of your comfort zone.” Karen Salmansohn

Leave The Comfort Zone Behind Tip #1: Break Normal Daily Routines

To help break your comfort zone, start breaking some of those normal daily routines.

  • Take a different route
  • Eat something different for breakfast
  • Etc…

Just by doing routines differently, you will prepare yourself for the no-comfort zone.

A dream is your creative vision for your life in the future. You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown.” Denis Waitley

Leave The Comfort Zone Behind Tip #2: Determine A Skill To Learn Outside Your Comfort Zone

Be it by reading, taking a class or following a mentor, I suggest you think of a skill that would be helpful to you and the business. A skill you do not know.

It will be like riding a bike for the first time. You will be outside your comfort zone as you are the student and not the teacher.

If you put yourself in a position where you have to stretch outside your comfort zone, then you are forced to expand your consciousness.” Les Brown

Leave The Comfort Zone Behind Tip #3: Do Something That Scares You Once Per Week

Fear is the entrepreneurs biggest enemy. It is fear that allows people the ability to accept life in a comfort zone.

But don’t we want more?

YES!

I suggest, big or small, each week, you choose to go do something that scares you slightly…

  • Public speaking
  • Prospecting in a mall
  • Skydiving
  • A roller coaster
  • Etc…

Let it hang out and you will quickly be comfortable not being comfortable.

It’s important to build trust if you’re trying to deal with big things. Big issues require everybody to get outside their comfort zone, and people are more willing to do so if they believe that their partner is sincere in their efforts. And the only way you can do that is to engage them on a personal level.” Jeb Bush

Leave The Comfort Zone Behind Tip #4: Who Cares?

No one!

That is right!

It may sound harsh but, the majority of people don’t care if you succeed, fail or “just get by” in your comfort zone.

Sure, there are a few people that truly do care. But that number is much lower than you probably realize.

The reason I put this as the 4th and final tip is because to get outside of your comfort zone, you MUST stop worrying about what other people are thinking.

Fact is, you are probably wrong in your assumptions of what they are thinking anyway.

Realize, people are caught up in making a better future for their own… their family, their friends and their self.

When you let go of worrying about the thoughts and opinions of others, you are truly entering the no-comfort zone. The place where GREAT things happen!

I like learning stuff. The more information you can get about a person or a subject, the more you can pour into a potential project. I made a decision to do different things. I want to do things that have a better chance of being thought of as original. I do everything I can to disrupt my comfort zone.” Brian Grazer

Conclusion

You can never start to early or to late, the time is always right to leave the comfort zone behind.

I challenge you! Leave that comfort zone!

Maintaining A Strong Business Focus: 8 Tips

With so much going on around us, the odds of losing focus on the priorities are heightened. To keep moving forward and upward, it is important that we maintain a strong business focus.

Here is some help to do so!

I am sharing 8 tips to help you keep a strong business focus.

Use ‘em and share ‘em – They Work!

Strong Business Focus Tip #1: Attack The Difficult First

Some believe that they can get momentum by completing the easy tasks first.

I disagree!

When we take on the most difficult task first, we give ourselves extreme confidence and the rest of the day flows smoothly.

Strong Business Focus Tip #2: Do Not Compare Success And Failure

While it is nearly impossible to not compare your business to your competitor’s, danger comes when you think their failure is your success or their success is your failure.

It is good to learn from your competitors, but stay clear of comparing successes and failures.

Strong Business Focus Tip #3: Make Meetings Seldom And Short

Sometimes creativity killers come in the form of meetings.

While meetings are a must at times, some meetings could be cut and others could be shortened drastically.

Do not allow meetings the power of taking high-production time.

Strong Business Focus Tip #4: Create And Follow A Daily Plan

When we get ourselves into daily routines, we do get much more accomplished.

While no day ever runs exactly the same, you can help your focus by creating a daily plan for each and every day.

I suggest doing so each evening.

Strong Business Focus Tip #5: Make Sure Your Work Area Is Optimized For Your Comfort

Your office needs to be optimized for you…

  • A comfortable chair and desk
  • The heat or air set to a level that is comfortable
  • Colors that draw out your creativity
  • Positive pictures
  • Etc…

Strong Business Focus Tip #6: Don’t Multitask

While you may assume you are getting more completed by multitasking, odds are the tasks you complete are not as well done as if you would have focused strictly on that project.

Multitasking actually takes our focus away.

If you focus on one task at a time, you will complete it with better accuracy and you will tend to get more tasks done over time.

Strong Business Focus Tip #7: Take Care Of Your Top Asset

Your biggest asset is looking at you in the mirror…

YOU!

If you take care of that asset…

  • Exercise
  • Eat properly
  • Sleep right
  • Have fun

you will be more focused to manage your business.

Strong Business Focus Tip #8: Take Breaks

It is important that you reward yourself with breaks.

These breaks could be a short 10 minutes away from the computer, or a longer weekend camping trip in Wyoming. Or even longer; how about a week long Alaska cruise?

Just make sure you take breaks. By doing so, you cut down the odds of getting burnt out.

Conclusion

Most importantly, focus on being strongly business focused.

You’ve got this! I have faith.

As an added help, you should check out the Home Business Success Kit. The tools will help you grow your business and stay focused during the process.

Integrating Blockchain Technology Into Your Business: 10 Ways

When Blockchain technology entered the minds of humans back in 2009 with a digital currency called Bitcoin, many people assumed it would fail. Now 9 years later, we have discovered that Bitcoin has reached unheard of values, and Blockchain technology has its place in the world of business.

As a matter of fact, businesses that are not integrating Blockchain technology into their business structure, are missing out on advantages that could leave them trailing competitors.

I am going to share with you 10 ways you can integrate Blockchain technology into your business structure. And, I will share a place that can help you with this.

Integrating Blockchain Technology #1: Smart Contracts

A system that deletes the chances of fraud or interference, Blockchain technology allows you to create and manage contractual agreements.

Payments are held in escrow until the Blockchain is satisfied.

Integrating Blockchain Technology #2: Transferring Money

Sending and receiving money is much safer and easier using Blockchain technology. It can be very useful in doing business globally.

Integrating Blockchain Technology #3: Auditing

Any audit can be less stressful and quicker to complete if it is all on the Blockchain. Be it an internal or external audit, no one can manipulate the numbers the Blockchain provides.

Integrating Blockchain Technology #4: Money Laundering Protection

Criminals have used some unique and sophisticated methods to “launder” illegal financial gains. The Blockchain with its strong encryption and following Know Your Customer policies, eradicates the possibility of money laundering.

Integrating Blockchain Technology #5: Save On Administrative Costs

Bookkeeping can be both time consuming and costly. Many small businesses outsource their bookkeeping which can be a cost that is lightened substantially by using Blockchain technology.

The technology will actually keep the books for you at a far less cost than any other avenue.

Integrating Blockchain Technology #6: Supply Chain Perfection

Can any supply chain be perfect?

It is doubtful. But, using Blockchain technology, you will chop down variables in:

  • Legalities
  • Multiple vendor syncing
  • Weather
  • Etc…

The Blockchain helps you keep a near perfect supply chain which always results in higher customer satisfaction rates.

Integrating Blockchain Technology #7: Sensitive Data Exchange

With the high rate of hacking sensitive data from businesses and the possibility of a data-nabbing, businesses need the assurance of hack-proof systems so they can share sensitive data without fear of compromise.

Blockchain technology uses encryption methods that cannot be broken because of the many layers.

Integrating Blockchain Technology #8: Loyalty Programs

Keeping track of loyalty programs can turn into a costly mess. But by using Blockchain technology, the system will keep accurate records and give notifications when certain loyalty levels are reached.

This goes right along with bookkeeping, as it eliminates fraud and many simple mistakes.

Integrating Blockchain Technology #9: Quality Control

The days of old in trying to narrow down where any problem originated from is made much easier with Blockchain technology.

If there is a problem, you can simply go to the blockchain to narrow it down from start to finish.

What could have taken weeks before can be done in minutes now.

Integrating Blockchain Technology #10: Taxes

How would you like it if the Blockchain could do your business taxes in the most economical way possible.

It can!

Conclusion

When it comes to Blockchain technology, the sky is the limit.

And, I have been consulting with developers of a system that will allow you to create your own Blockchain systems to meet your business needs.

On January 8th, 2018, NASGO is running the Global Offering.

You can create your own Blockchain Dapps and NASGO will have a crytocurrency that will have a limit of 1,010,000 that can be mined.

I highly recommend you jump in on the Global Offering. You can get on board here.

Blockchain technology is the future… A future that will take you and your business…

The Power Of Feng Shui: 8 Tips

I have discovered that by instilling Feng Shui principles in my life, I have been able to

  • have more energy
  • use more rational thoughts in decision making
  • feel less stress
  • get more completed in the time allotted

and so much more!

There is power in Feng Shui; the ancient Chinese system of balance… And many other belief systems have followed similar principles.

A perfect balance in work, play, exercise, rest; in every part of life is the objective of Feng Shui.

Today, I am going to show you about the Feng Shui Element Chart and give you 8 tips on using Feng Shui’s power in your work and life.

The Feng Shui Element Chart

In Feng Shui, there are 5 elements:

  1. Wood
  2. Fire
  3. Earth
  4. Metal
  5. and Water

And one of these elements is dominate in you depending on when you were born. See the chart to see your predominate element.

And you can use these elements to determine balancing decisions for your life and work.

Feng Shui Tip #1: Discover Your Power Colors

After you have determined your element, you can determine your Feng Shui power colors.

Use the corresponding colors to surround yourself with the positive energy.

These are the colors you should use in painting your office and other decor. You should also consider using these colors in your attire.

Feng Shui Tip #2: Compatibility

Considering compatibility and the people you spend the most time around, you may want to look at their element.

  • Wood is not compatible with fire and metal.
  • Fire is not compatible with water.
  • Earth doesn’t do well with fire.
  • Metal probably should stay clear of water… Rust.
  • And water probably doesn’t fit with fire.

Does this mean you should completely ignore these people?

NO!

But just know the elements and allow the power of Feng Shui to inhabit your work and life.

Feng Shui Tip #3: Get Rid Of Clutter

By getting your home and office clutter free, you will be getting rid of past negative energy and allowing positive energy to enter and have free reign.

Feng Shui Tip #4: Rearrange Your Office

Setting up your office using the Feng Shui system will allow you to be more productive and feel great.

You should set your desk up so you face the door and it also helps you feel empowered if your back is against a solid wall.

Feng Shui Tip #5: If It Is Broke…

Get rid of it!

Have you been “getting by” with that pen that doesn’t click anymore?

Throw it away!

Does that trash can have a bad odor you can’t get rid of?

Toss it!

When we keep items around us that are broken, it can break our positive aura. Instead of striving to be at the top of your game, you might just settle for “getting by” just like that pen.

Get rid of the broken stuff and watch your aura shine with positivity!

Feng Shui Tip #6: Add Some Nature

Adding green plants in your home and office will enliven the energy within you. They feed oxygen and clean the air. Just a nice supply of plants around the home and office will allow nature to feed you positive and uplifting energy.

Feng Shui Tip #7: Light

The sun feeds us natural energy too.

If possible, allow as much natural light in. Make sure you have ample lighting. If you have to fight to see things, you are wasting your positive energy.

Feng Shui Tip #8: Keep Doorways Unhindered

Clear doorways allow energy to flow evenly throughout your home and office. Make sure all doorways are free of any obstructions.

Studies Show

Tests have been done with individuals sitting in rooms with both good and bad Feng Shui. The results were amazing!

Using an EEG machine, brain waves showed beta waves spiking with people in bad Feng Shui. In the good Feng Shui, the brain waves stayed consistent.

Conclusion

I highly suggest you try the tips I gave you.

It does work!

Here is something else I have for you: Click here to get 7 Days To Unstoppable Motivation.

Let’s hear your thoughts… Do you consider Feng Shui in your life, your home and your office?

Top 7 New Year Resolutions For Entrepreneurs

It’s that time of the season… New Years! And many people are making resolutions for the coming year. What New Year resolutions are you, or have you made?

Now keep in mind that most people do not follow through with their resolutions, but YOU WILL!

Because you are an entrepreneur!

I have decided to make a list for entrepreneurs of great New Year resolutions to consider.

Here are the top 7 New Year resolutions for entrepreneurs.

New Year Resolutions For Entrepreneurs #1: Keep A Closer Eye On Spending

Managing the budget is extremely important! It is easy to get caught up in wanting to purchase every tool, advertising scheme or other items with the idea they will grow your business. But if you go into debt on your credit card, are you really growing?

It just comes down to measure your spending.

I developed a system that can help you with maintaining control over your budget.

Click here and see what the Expense Tracker can do for you.

New Year Resolutions For Entrepreneurs #2: Get Healthier

Health has 3 areas:

  • Physical
  • Mental
  • Emotional

Now take a good look at yourself… How is your health?

Maybe you are doing good physically, but are you reading and learning to build your mental health?

Or maybe you lose it emotionally at times but are strong in the other areas.

You MUST always build your 3 layers of health.

So take some time each day to work on a health area.

New Year Resolutions For Entrepreneurs #3: Set Firm Work Hours

I have known many an entrepreneur who has suffered from overload… Don’t be like that entrepreneur!

Burn out is a leading cause to major problems, so set firm work hours and don’t be opening tasks past those hours.

While you may think you are solving problems when working until 2 AM, you are just creating more problems.

New Year Resolutions For Entrepreneurs #4: Set Realistic Goals

While I am a firm believer in setting big goals, they also must be reachable. And it is important that to reach those goals, you set objectives or “milestones.”

As you attain these milestones, reward yourself to motivate you to go after the next milestone.

New Year Resolutions For Entrepreneurs #5: Take At Least 1 Vacation

It will do you good to just completely disconnect from everything with your business for a week this year.

Plan a vacation and leave the work to manage on its own.

Use your tribe to keep it running and go spend some time in

  • Hawaii
  • London
  • Wyoming
  • or maybe the Caribbean

You will be amazed at what a 1 week vacation will do for your well being.

New Year Resolutions For Entrepreneurs #6: Optimize Your Social Channels

Are you getting the most out of your entrepreneur social channels? Are you posting and interacting with your followers?

Social channels…

  • Facebook
  • Linkedin
  • Instagram
  • Pinterest
  • Etc…

Learn to manage your time so you can keep up with your social profiles. Build your brand by building relationships.

New Year Resolutions For Entrepreneurs #7: Delegate Or Outsource More Tasks

One of the hardest things to do as an entrepreneur is to allow other people to manage some of the tasks of the business structure.

But…

You must!

It is difficult to let go of some of those responsibilities, but it is imperative that you trust and let others help you build that business.

Believe me, you may be in for a huge surprise when that tribe member or freelancer helps your revenues go up and your costs go down.

6 Key Focus Areas When Creating Your Website

What impression do people have when they visit your website?

Was the site built considering the visitors… The readers? Or was it built with an assumption of what people would want to see?

Just because we think the website looks good and will be profitable does not mean the website visitors will agree.

Here are 6 key focus areas when you create your website.

Key Focus Areas #1: Clutter Free

Too much of a good thing can actually be a bad thing.

Some people assume that splattering a lot of information on their home page will be beneficial. Let me just explain it this way, you would not want a cluttered house if company were coming to visit, don’t let people come to a cluttered website.

Key Focus Areas #2: Inviting Colors

While the temptation may be to use many colors, websites that stick with 2 or 3 colors have better statistics. And those colors need to invite the reader and make he/she feel at home.

Keep in mind your brand, your message and choose colors that will contribute and not deter.

This link shows us how colors can effect our moods.

Key Focus Areas #3: Follow The Eyes

In studying people visiting websites, something cool was discovered. There is a neat tool called a heatmap that shows where peoples eyes are primarily focused when entering the website.

Have you ever noticed that if you are near another person and they look up, down or sideways, you will also look in the same general direction?

Humans want to look at what another person is looking at. And you can use that to your advantage. Because even if it is a picture of a person looking elsewhere, website visitors will follow the eyes to see what the person is looking at.

Do you have a call to action or headline that you want to make sure everyone sees? Just have a picture of a person whose eyes are looking directly at the object you want readers gazing at. If the person’s eyes are looking at the camera, your web visitors will focus on the image and little else.

Key Focus Areas #4: Follow Basic SEO Principles

There are some simple principles you need to follow to get the most out of search engine optimization.

  • Determine your primary keyword or phrase
  • Make sure your key is in the Title Tag, preferable at the front. The Title Tag should be 70 characters or less.
  • Make sure the key is in the URL
  • Keep 300 or less words between each header.
  • Have the key in at least 1 header.
  • Sprinkle the key throughout the content in an understandable way.
  • On images, always use ALT tags and make sure one ALT is your key.

Key Focus Areas #5: Get To The Point

If you want to attract and keep website visitors, make sure you are providing them with solutions and answers immediately.

A person does not want to search your website for the answer. It needs to be in front of their eyes when they enter your website.

How can you help them?

Key Focus Areas #6: High Quality Content

People are visiting your site because you are able to give more… give different… You give them high quality, educational and helpful content.

There are tons of websites that look like the next website. Plus, there content is the same or similar…

Don’t have a website like that.

Conclusion

I would suggest you get opinions from trusted friends and family members on your website design and content before you “send it live.”

Remember that your website is the first reflection of you and your brand.

By the way, I published a special checklist on How To Create A Crazy Profitable Website. Click here to get your checklist.
